No one is a refugee by choice. Refugees and internally displaced people are forced to flee their homes out of fear for their lives and liberty. Many live in crowded camps, waiting for peace and an opportunity to return home. Some can return after a few weeks while other spend their entire lives hoping for the chance to rebuild their lives with dignity.

About the Sponsored Family:

Centennial is sponsoring a family of seven Sudanese refugees. We’ll provide more details with you. As their sponsors, we’ve committed to support them for at least one year.

About Us:

As a congregation we’re able to privately sponsor refugees through the Presbyterian Church in Canada, which is a Sponsorship Agreement Holder with the Canadian government. And since we’re a registered charity, all donations are eligible for tax receipts.

An Update:

Our Refugee Project was approved at the Annual General Meeting on March 3, 2019.
